यस क्षेत्रका मानिसहरु वि.स. २०२६ सालतिर पहाडी भूभाग तथा भारतीय भूभागबाट यस ठाँउमा जग्गा पाइन्छ भनी आएको र यस सिलसिलामा बसोवास भएको पाइन्छ । यस क्षेत्रमा जनआबादी बढेसँगै आफ्ना बालबालिकाहरुलाई शिक्षा दिक्षा दिनुपर्छ भन्ने मनसायले यहाँका समाजसेवी, भद्रभलादमी, शिक्षप्रेमी तथा बुद्धिजीवीहरुको छलफलबाट सुरु भई शिक्षाप्रेमी समाजसेवी आदरणीय व्यक्तीत्व श्री दिनबन्धु अर्यालको संयोजकत्वमा भेला बसी विद्यालय सञ्चालनमा ल्याइयो ।
वि.स. २०२८ साल पौष ७ गते स्थापना भएको यो सुदुर पश्चिम प्रदेश कञ्चनपुर जिल्ला पुर्नवास नगरपालिका वडा न. ९ बिचफाँटामा अवस्थित रहेको छ । विद्यालय सञ्चालनको क्रममा वि.स. २०२८ सालमा देशभरि नयाँ शिक्षा लागु भएपछि दरबन्दि सहित स्वीकृती प्राप्त गरेको थियो। सोही अनुरुप २०३० सालमा कक्षा ३ सम्म अनुमती प्राप्त गर्न सफल रहयो । यस विद्यालयले वि.स. २०४४ सालमा कक्षा ४ र वि.स. २०४५ सालमा कक्षा ५ को अनुमती प्राप्त गरी कक्षाहरु सञ्चालनमा ल्यायो । प्रथम पटक तत्कालिन जिल्ला पञ्चायतबाट ३ कोठे जस्तापाता सहितको पक्की भवन अनुदान वापत वि.स. २०३८ सालमा प्राप्त गरी भवन निर्माण गरिएको थियो । यसै प्रकार समय परिवर्तन र जनसङ्ख्या वृद्धिसँगै यस बिचफाँटामा निम्न माध्यमिक तहको आवश्यकता महसुस गरी यसै क्षेत्रका समाजसेवी, शिक्षाप्रेमि तथा बुद्धिजीवीहरुको भेलाबाट वि.स. २०५६ सालमा कक्षा ६ सञ्चालन गरी निम्न माध्यमिक तह सञ्चालनमा ल्याइयो । वि.स. २०५६ सालमा कक्षा ६ को अनुमती प्राप्त गरी सुरु भएको निम्नमाध्यमिक तह वि.स. २०५८ सालमा कक्षा ८ अनुमती प्राप्त गरेसँगै पूर्ण रुपले विद्यालय निम्न माध्यमिक तहको विद्यालय बन्न पुग्यो । वि.स. २०६५ सालमा कक्षा ९ र वि.स. २०६६ सालमा कक्षा १० सञ्चालन गरी उक्त वर्ष नै कक्षा १० को अनुमती प्राप्त गरी यो विद्यालय माध्यमिक तहसम्म सञ्चालनमा आयो । यस प्रकार विद्यालय वि.स. २०२८ सालमा सिमलको रुखको मुनिबाट शुरु गरेर बिभिन्न आरोह र अवरोह पार गर्दै ३७ वर्ष पछि माध्यमिक तहसम्म सञ्चालन हुन सफल भयो।
Around the year 2026 B.S. (1969/70 A.D.), people migrated to this area from hilly regions and Indian territories upon hearing that land was available here, leading to human settlement over time. As the population grew in this area, local social workers, community leaders, education enthusiasts, and intellectuals gathered with the intention of providing education to their children. Under the leadership of the respected social worker and education lover, Mr. Dinabandhu Aryal, a meeting was held, and the school was officially brought into operation.
हाल यस विद्यालयमा माध्यमिक तहमा १ राहत र २ संघीय अनुदान कोटा, निम्नमाध्यमिक तहमा ३ राहत दरबन्दी, प्राथमिक तहमा ३ स्थायी दरबन्दी, १ अस्थायी दरबन्दी र २ राहत दरबन्दी, प्रारम्भिक बालविकासमा २ विद्यायका आधारित र १ सामुदायमा अधारित गरी ३ वटा बालविकास दरबन्दी, १ लेखापाल दरबन्दी, १ कार्यालाय सहयोगी अनुदान दरबन्दी, १ चौकिदार र १ स्विपर गरी कूल जम्मा शिक्षक कर्मचारी मण्डल रहेको छ । यस श्री राष्ट्रिय माध्यमिक विद्यालय वि.स. २०२८ सालमा स्थापना भई हाल माध्यमिक तहको कक्षाहरु सञ्चालन भइरहेका छन् । आजको मितिसम्म सम्पूर्ण शिक्षक कर्मचारीहरु गरी २० जना यस विद्यालयमा कार्यरत रहेका छन् ।
विद्यालयमा हाल सम्म भवन संख्या ७ र कक्षा कोठाहरु २३ वटा रहेका छन् । जसमध्ये ७ वटा अर्ध पक्की जस्तापाता सहितका छन् भने विद्यालयमा फर्निचरहरु आवश्यकता बमोजिम रहेका छन् । विद्यालयमा फर्निचरका साथै विद्युतीय सामग्री र शैक्षिक सामग्रीहरु पनि उपलब्ध रहेका छन् । विद्यालयमा प्रत्येक साल सामाजिक लेखा परीक्षण र महालेखा परीक्षण गरिएकोछ भने हाल आर्थिक अवस्थामा सुधारोन्मुख रहेकोछ । समयको मागसँगै कक्षा ११ र कक्षा १२ सञ्चालन गर्ने लक्ष्य लिइएको छ । विद्यालय हातामा पक्की पर्खाल लगाइएको छ । २ छात्रा शौचालय र २ छात्र शौचालय गरी ४ शौचालय रहेका छन् । जसमध्ये ३ ओटा जीर्ण अवस्थामा रहेकोले मर्मत सम्भार गर्न आवश्यक छ भने २ कोठे १ शौचालय सही रहेको छ ।
Established on Paush 7, 2028 B.S. (December 22, 1971 A.D.), this school is located in Bichfanta, Ward No. 9 of Punarbas Municipality, Kanchanpur District, Sudurpashchim Province. Following the implementation of the New Education Plan nationwide in 2028 B.S., the school received official approval along with sanctioned teacher positions. Accordingly, it successfully gained approval to run up to Grade 3 in 2030 B.S. The school expanded further by obtaining approval for Grade 4 in 2044 B.S. and Grade 5 in 2045 B.S. For the first time, in 2038 B.S., the school received a grant from the then District Panchayat to construct a permanent 3-room building with a corrugated tin roof.
As time passed and the population grew, the community felt the need for a lower secondary level education. In 2056 B.S., a gathering of local social workers, education enthusiasts, and intellectuals decided to start Grade 6, thereby introducing the lower secondary level. Having obtained approval for Grade 6 in 2056 B.S., the school gained approval for Grade 8 in 2058 B.S., officially becoming a full-fledged lower secondary school. Later, it began running Grade 9 in 2065 B.S. and Grade 10 in 2066 B.S. Upon receiving official approval for Grade 10 that same year, the school upgraded to a secondary level institution. Thus, after starting beneath the shade of a Simal tree in 2028 B.S., the school weathered various ups and downs to successfully reach the secondary level after 37 years.

In total, 20 teachers and staff members are currently working at Shree Rastriya Secondary School, which was established in 2028 B.S. and presently runs classes up to the secondary level.
To date, the school has 7 buildings and 23 classrooms. Among them, 7 are semi-permanent with corrugated tin roofs, and the school is adequately equipped with furniture. In addition to furniture, electronic equipment and educational materials are also available. The school undergoes annual social and Auditor General audits, and its current financial condition is improving. In line with modern demands, the school aims to introduce Grades 11 and 12 in the future. The school premises are enclosed by a permanent boundary wall. There are 4 toilets in total (2 for female students and 2 for male students); however, 3 of these are in a dilapidated condition and require repair, while 1 two-room toilet is in good condition.
